In Spain, Espeso & Gayubo (1988) have also found the species at flowers of Hedera helix (Araliaceae) et Mentha pulegium (Lamiaceae). Gayubo et al. (1989) on Bryonia dioica (Cucurbitaceae), Calluna vulgaris (Ericaceae), Daphne gnidium (Thymelaeaceae), Daucus carota (Apiaceae), Digitalis purpurea , Linaria sp. (Scrophulariaceae), Mentha pulegium (Lamiaceae) and Santolina rosmarinifolia (Asteraceae), Pérez-Inigo Mora (1982) on Sedum sp. (Crassulaceae) and Senecio jacobaea (Asteraceae).
In Austria, Graeffe (1902) observed the species at flowers of Leontodon taraxacum (Asteraceae) and Pérez-Inigo Mora & Gayubo (1989) at Thapsia villosa (Apiaceae).
In the south of France, Le Goff (1995) observed the species at Cephalaria leucantha (Dipsacaceae). and In Algeria, Saunders (1908) mentioned Euphorbia paralias (Euphorbiaceae) and Eryngium tricuspidatum (Apiaceae).
In France, N. Vereecken (in litt.) reports males of Ceratina cucurbitina entering a flower of Serapias lingua (Orchidaceae) and retreating bearing pollinia attached to the head. He has demonstrated that this is an example of sexual deception by the orchid. He also reports foraging on Cakile maritimum (Brassicaceae) and Eryngium maritimum (Apiaceae).
