In Italy, (Bolzano), Friese (1896) also noted the species at Medicago sp. (Fabaceae).
In Spain, Espeso & Gayubo (1988) recorded the species at flowers of Marrubium vulgare (Lamiaceae), and Gayubo et al. (1989) observed it at Calluna vulgaris (Ericaceae), Senecio sp., Inula sp. (Asteraceae), Rubus sp. (Rosaceae)
