Polylectic: There are few records of flower visiting in this species; Records are known of Inula sp. (Asteraceae), Scabiosa atropurpurea (Dipsacaceae) and Apiaceae. (Terzo, 2000)
In Ukraine, Osychnyuk (1959) observed the species at flowers of Carduus acanthoides, Matricaria chamomilla, Onopordum acanthium (Asteraceae), Echium vulgare (Boraginaceae), Robinia pseudacacia (Fabaceae), Rubus caesius (Rosaceae), Salvia nemorosa, Stachys recta (Lamiaceae), Veronica teucrium (Scrophulariaceae). Pesenko (1974) lists Convolvulus arvensis (Convolvulaceae).
