Nomada argentata HERRICH-SCHÄFFER, 1839

As this is a cleptoparasitic species, all flower visits will be for nectar only.

Like its host, it frequently visits Knautia arvensis, Scabiosa columbaria and Succisa pratensis. (Dipsacaceae). The species has also been swept from the flowers of Odontites verna (Scrophulariaceae) (G.M. Spooner, pers. comm.). In Sicily, it has been observed visiting yellow-flowered Brassicaceae (D.W. Baldock in litt. 2014)
