Megachile (Chelostomoides) otomita Cresson, 1878

Broadly polylectic: Strudwick & Jacobi (2018)(citing Raw, 2004) summarised existing evidence on flower visitation within its native range. It is known to visit flowers of several plant families: Fabaceae, Asteraceae, Lamiaceae, Polygonaceae. R. Torres-Cervantes (in. litt.) observed pollen collection on Wigandia urens (Boraginaceae).

In the Canary Islands, Strudwick & Jacobi (2018) report visitation to Launea arborescens (Asteraceae) and Echium giganteum (Boraginaceae)
