Broadly Oligolectic: Müller & Kuhlmann (2008) list Asteroideae (Asteraceae) as a pollen source based on 34 pollen loads from 24 different localities.
Pollen sources in the British Isles not recorded, but probably oligolectic on species of Asteraceae, as in Germany (Westrich, 1989), the Netherlands (Peeters, Raemakers & Smit,1999), Finland (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003) and Russia (Pesenko in Banaszak, 1995).
Pawlikowski & Kruszynski (1997) list Helychrysum arenarium and Tanacetum vulgare (Asteraceae) as forage sources in Poland.
Pekkarinen (1998) lists plants in the following genera of Asteraceae as pollen sources: Achillea, Leucanthemum, Solidago, Tanacetum, Tripleurospermum, Taraxacum. Niemelä, (1934) states that in Finland, Tanacetum vulgare (Asteraceae) is the principal forage source.
