Müller (2018) reports that pollen sources include Asteraceae (Cichorioideae, Carduoideae, Asteroideae), Convolvulaceae; Papaveraceae; Ranunculaceae; Brassicaceae; Campanulaceae; Linum (Linaceae); Echium (Boraginaceae) (A. Müller, unpublished, based on 10 pollen samples from 7 different localities and the pollen content of 2 brood cells of the same nest)
