Pollen sources not known although the species shows a preference for the flowers of Apiaceae.
In Spain, it is reported to visit plants in the families: Polygonaceae, Lamiaceae, Apiaceae and Asteraceae. (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004)
