Almost certainly an oligolectic species, specialising in Asteraceae pollen. There are very few observations on flower-visiting, although two females were found when collecting pollen on Taraxacum officinale. Males were also observed patrolling or nectar-feeding onTaraxacum officinale and Salix sp. (Salicaceae)(Schwenninger 2007).
