Details of the lectic status are not available, but it is probably oligolectic on Brassicaceae. Fellendorf et al (1999) list the following forage plants Brassica sp., Rapistrum rugosum and Raphanus raphanistrum (Brassicaceae) and additionally state that the species is one of the principal pollinators of cabbage plants on Madeira. On Porto Santo, it is recorded visiting Oxalis pes-caprae (as O. cernua)(Oxalidaceae) and Calendula sp. (Asteraceae).
