There are no details of the lectic status of this species although it is likely to be polylectic (as are other Andrena (Zonandrena) species. In the Canary Islands, ssp. nyroca is known to visit Asteraceae, Euphorbiaceae and Fabaceae (Baldock et al, 2018)
