Pawlikowski & Kruszynski (1997) list Lamium purpureum (Lamiaceae) as a forage source in Poland.
Pekkarinen (1998) lists the following genera as pollen sources in Finland: Ballota, Galeopsis, Hyssopus, Lamium, Prunella, Satureija, Scutellaria and Stachys (Lamiaceae).
