Polylectic: British pollen sources largely unknown. A female has been seen collecting Echium vulgare pollen (Boraginaceae)(pers. obs.).

Polylectic in Germany (Westrich & Schmidt, 1987).

Pawlikowski & Kruszynski (1997) list Echium vulgare (Boraginaceae); Centaurea rhenana (Asteraceae); Chamaerion angustifolium (Onagraceae); Potentilla arenaria (Rosaceae) as forage sources in Poland.

Maghni et al (2017) list the following forage sources in Algeria: Calendula sp., Centaurea solstitialis, Silybum marianum (Asteraceae).
