In Germany, probably also polylectic, visiting Anthriscus sylvestris, Angelica sylvestris, Daucus carota, Eryngium campestre (Apiaceae); Cirsium arvense, Solidago candensis, Achillea millefolium, Tanacetum vulgare, Hieracium sp. (Asteraceae); Rorippa sylvestris, Sisymbrium orientale (Brassicaceae); Jasione montana (Campanulaceae); Melilotus alba (Fabaceae); Reseda lutea (Resedaceae) and Potentilla argentea, Potentilla reptans, Rubus fruticosus (Rosaceae) (Westrich, 1989).
Pawlikowski & Kruszynski (1997) list Potentilla argentea (Rosaceae) as a forage source in Poland.
Finnish records include Leontodon autumnalis (Asteraceae), Geranium sylvaticum (Geraniaceae) and Potentilla palustris(Rosaceae)(Söderman & Leinonen, 2003)
Spanish records are from plants in the families: Polygonaceae, Crassulaceae, Rosaceae, Apiaceae, Boraginaceae, Lamiaceae and Campanulaceae. (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004)
