Probably polylectic. A known nectar source is Antirrhinum majus (Scrophulariaceae) (Gottlieb, Daphna, Keasar, Tamar, Shmida, Avi, Motro, Uzi, 2005)
Mavromoustakis (1952) reports visitation to Centaurea hyalolepis and Echinops spinosus (Asteraceae); Capparis spinosa sicula (Capparaceae); Cistus villosus (Cistaceae); Calycotome villosa (Fabaceae); Vitex agnus-casti (Lamiaceae); Eryngium sp. (Apiaceae). The latter species was noted a little after sunset.
