Probably a polylectic species. Data is sparse, but Gogala (1999) lists plants in the families Apiaceae and Asteraceae, and Osytschniuk (1970) adds Rosaceae. Polish records are of specimens at flowers of Ranunculus spp. (Ranunculaceae)(Banaszak & Krzysztofiak, 1996). A new record from Poland cited by Celary & Wisniowski (2003), reports 2 females at flowers of Heracleum sphondylium (Apiaceae)
In the Netherlands, it is reported to visit Rubus sp. (Rosaceae)(Peeters, Raemakers & Smit, 1999).
