Polylectic with strong preference for Fabaceae. The specimens collected at the university field in Erzurum (Turkey) were found on Melilotus alba and M. officinalis (Fabaceae). Some specimens were also collected in the alfalfa (Medicago sativa) field. Eryngium campestre (Apiaceae) is visited by this bee in steppe areas (Kuhlmann, M., & Özbek, H. in prep.).
