A polylectic species. Müller & Kuhlmann (2008) list Asteroidaea (Asteraceae), Apiaceae, Fabaceae, Rhamnaceae, Anacardiaceae, Brassicaceae, Lamiaceae and Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae) based on 16 pollen loads from 12 different localities.
In Spain, recorded from flowers in the families: Fabaceae, Thymeleaceae, Ericaceae and Asteraceae (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004).
