A wide range of habitats including valley slopes with thermophilous vegetation, marginal areas (ditch sides and roadside verges) and in cultivated fields of Sunflower (Helianthus annuus), Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) and Oilseed Rape (Brassica napus) fields (BG)

Lowland/upland vegetation zones including sclerophylous biotopes (0-350m a.s.l.)(GR)(Standfuss et al., 2011)

Moist habitats and is found in mesophilous grasslands and road borders. In the Alps, it can be found at altitudes up to 2,500 m asl. (EU)
