Heathland edge and sandy acid grasslands (GB)

Some association with woodland but also known from dry heath, grasslands and coastal sites. Has recently been collected in a number of rural horticultural gardens. (IE)

Moist habitats (mesophilous grasslands and forest edges), where there is a good representation of yellow Asteraceae flowers. (EU)
