Andrena curvungula occurs in various habitats, preferring humid ones (mesophilous grasslands, forest borders, woodlands, wetlands) in valleys and mountains up to 1,600 m asl in Transcaucasia and 1,700 m asl in the Alps (EU).
A species of dry warm south facing hillsides; including derelict vineyards and mountain sides. Also in woodland edge and built up areas (eg Botanic gardens)(DE). (Westrich, 1989).
