Andrena (Micrandrena) wollastoni Cockerell, 1922

The range of altitudes reaches from sea level up to 1750 m a.s.l. More important frequencies are found in altitudes between sea level and 700 m a.s.l. According to the ifferentiation
into thermotypes and ombrotypes (Capelo et al. 2004), the localities where A. wollastoni has been documented correspond primarily to inframediterranean, lower thermomediterranean and (with minor frequency) upper thermomediterranean thermotypes. Concerning humidity high frequencies are reached in lower subhumid, upper subhumid and lower humid ombrotypes but also in upper humid ombrotype. The habitats document a wide spectrum from coast line to the hilltop of Pico do Arieiro at an
altitude of 1750 m a.s.l. (PT-MD)(Kratochwil & Scheuchl, 2013)
